Tips for Planning a Pool Party Birthday in Atlanta

Choose a Safe Poolside Venue: Select a private swimming pool, community pool, recreation center, or outdoor event space with appropriate facilities.

Use Tropical Colors: Turquoise, aqua blue, hot pink, yellow, lime green, and orange create a cheerful summer atmosphere.

Create Photo Opportunities: Include a personalized pool party backdrop or tropical photo booth in a dry area away from the pool edge.

Coordinate Table Décor: Match linens, centerpieces, balloon arrangements, and decorative accessories.

Add Summer Details: Use beach ball decorations, tropical leaves, flamingo props, and personalized signage.

Plan Fun Activities: Include supervised pool games, beach ball activities, and summer-themed crafts.

Provide Dedicated Water Supervision: Assign responsible adults to actively watch children in and around the pool. A designated water watcher should avoid phones and other distractions. Use properly fitted life jackets for children who need them, and do not rely on inflatable toys as safety devices.

Prioritize Safety: Keep balloon displays and electrical decorations away from pool edges, maintain clear walkways, and remove broken balloons promptly.

Prepare for Outdoor Weather: Arrange shaded seating, drinking water, sunscreen, and an indoor backup plan for storms.

Hire Professional Event Decorators: Professional styling can simplify setup and create a memorable celebration.
